This policy explains how Lara AutoCentre uses cookies and similar browser storage on laraautocentre.co.uk. For information about enquiries, bookings and your data rights, read our Privacy notice.
Your choice
On your first visit, or when no current choice is stored, we ask you to accept optional cookies, reject them, or choose your preferences. Analytics and marketing are optional. Rejecting them still lets you browse, contact us and use our booking service.
Use Cookie settings at any time to change your choice. If you clear this website’s cookies or use another browser or device, we may ask again. We do not try to recover a deleted choice or identify you to bypass it.
Essential cookies and storage
These support the website, security, requested account or booking functions and your cookie preferences. Complianz consent cookies, including cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics and cmplz_marketing, record your category choices for up to 365 days. Related consent storage records the policy version and whether the banner has been answered. Essential session storage may also be used while you request a booking or use an account. Blocking all essential cookies in your browser can affect those functions.
The consent-management cookie lara_measurement_consent stores signed enquiry permission references for up to 30 days. Its sole purpose is to let a later change in Cookie settings withdraw future server-side booking measurement for those enquiries. It is not used for advertising matching.
Analytics — only with your permission
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, pages viewed, referral sources and interactions with the site. Google receives browser/device information and website activity when this service loads. Its _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Google’s standard cookie lifetime is two years and can refresh on later visits; browser settings may shorten it. See Google’s cookie information and Google’s privacy policy.
Marketing and embedded content — only with your permission
We use Meta Pixel to measure website visits and advertising effectiveness and to support relevant repair advertising and remarketing. Meta may match website activity with information it holds about you. A website visit does not mean you have booked a repair or become a customer. Meta’s _fbp cookie normally lasts around three months; other Meta identifiers may depend on how you arrive at the site and your Meta account/browser settings. See Meta’s cookie policy and Meta’s privacy policy.
With Marketing consent, a successful enquiry may also pass the Meta browser/click identifiers (_fbp and, where present, _fbc) and selected service to LaraOS. We retain them for up to 30 days to measure a linked, confirmed diary appointment through Meta’s Conversions API. Booking events contain a fixed service category, time and opaque event ID, without names, contact details, registrations or repair notes. We check cancellation, expiry and withdrawal before delivery. Changing Cookie settings withdraws future delivery for enquiry references remembered by this browser; after clearing those references you can contact us to withdraw permission. Already-delivered events are not recalled.
Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps can send information to Google when loaded and may use cookies or browser storage. These optional embeds require the relevant consent. You can instead follow a direct link to YouTube or Maps, where that provider’s own privacy choices apply.
Links from YouTube and other websites
A link may include campaign information so we can understand where a visit came from. Clicking a YouTube link does not itself grant Lara AutoCentre cookie consent, and we cannot place our website cookies on the YouTube website. Your choice on this site controls our optional tracking here.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Open Cookie settings and reject optional cookies or save your preferred categories. You can also remove existing cookies through your browser. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking under that choice; it does not automatically erase information already received by Google or Meta. Their privacy controls and our Privacy notice explain further choices and rights.
Cookie expiry is separate from how long a provider keeps information already collected. Durations can vary with browser restrictions, provider changes and refreshed cookies.
